I brought gummies to settle up with Bram from the other night when he gave me all of his, and he brought Steinlager to share at the beautiful camp spot in Whananaki.
The birds, the people, the sound of my feet through water, mud and sand all became part of my hiking conversation.
Kia Ora Alison,
Awesome narrative and observed moments. Glad you were not concerned about wet boots

this is lovely!! I rinsed my shoes in fresh water and squished out mud AND sand — only to collect more. haha
These narratives are a splendid
and special view into the people
and culture where you walk.
Keep telling the story~

Blissfully hiking the Te Araroa, aka the world’s longest private pub crawl. Cheers, Alison!
